Our organization will spend its third Thanksgiving holiday hosting an event in the US Virgin Islands. In 2020 we held a feeding event during US Virgin Islands National Homelessness and Hunger Week. In 2021, with sponsorship and volunteer support from Northwestern and Vanderbilt University women’s basketball teams, we hosted the inaugural HOOPS AGAINST HUNGER event. This year, with the support of tournament host, Basketball Travelers Network, we hope to have the sponsorship and volunteer support from all schools participating in the 2022 US Virgin Islands Paradise Jam Tournament. We will have a broader outreach as we bring and feed kids to the men’s tournament and distribute food to the homeless in historic Market Square during the women’s tournament. We have global and local corporate sponsorship packages for the feeding events. We have contacted and look forward to receiving coverage on ESPN again!
