We Are Here to Serve the Underserved

Who
We Are
Feeding Caribbean is a 501c3 non-profit organization committed to ending hunger in the Caribbean by tackling the root causes of food and nutrition insecurity. Through a growing network of partners across the region, we are working to provide sustainable solutions that ensure access to nutritious food for those in need.
As we continue to expand our presence, schools, faith-based organizations, and local businesses will have greater opportunities to collaborate, share best practices, and drive meaningful change. By increasing awareness and fostering regional support, Feeding Caribbean is building a stronger, more resilient hunger relief system to create a future where no one in the Caribbean goes hungry.
What
We Are Doing
Feeding Caribbean is building a comprehensive hunger relief network across the Caribbean, modeled after the successful food bank system in the United States. Our mission is to establish 30 interconnected food banks—one in each territory—united under a single network to maximize efficiency and impact.
By creating a cohesive, region-wide system, we are significantly increasing our ability to eradicate hunger in each territory and throughout the Caribbean. With this network fully in place, communities will have greater access to essential food resources, fostering long-term food security and sustainability across the region.

My first visit to the Caribbean was to the Bahamas in 2002. I fell in love with the region immediately. Trips to Jamaica, Barbados, St Lucia, Martique, Antigua, Curacao and the Dominican Republic soon followed and all were spent on resorts. Eventually my visits to the region were in rental properties. I quickly gained a non-tourist perspective of the realities of the underserved. Visits turned into living in both Martinique and Barbados.
My eyes were fully opened to the life of the hungry and homeless in both territories. I have spent 25 years as a Professional Recruiter. The best recruiting position I had was with the Atlanta Community Food Bank. I saw the impact of hunger on the Greater Atlanta area. I also learned about Feeding America and how the Atlanta Community Food Bank fit into their network. My time with the Atlanta Community Food Bank went so well, my wife and I were married there in 2011.
I knew I wanted to fight hunger in a region and for a people I had grown to love. I started the Facebook page and purchased the Feeding Caribbean website name in 2012. I prayed about it, thought about it and finally officially launched the organization in 2020.
