We Are
Feeding Caribbean is a non-profit dedicated to ending hunger in the Caribbean by addressing the major issues in the region surrounding food and nutrition insecurity. Our organization is developing a network of partners spanning the Caribbean to combat hunger.
As Feeding Caribbean continues to establish itself within the region, schools, faith-based organizations, and local businesses across the Caribbean will be able to share best practices and benefit from increased awareness and support.

My first visit to the Caribbean was to the Bahamas 19 years ago. I fell in love with the region immediately. Trips to Jamaica, Barbados, St Lucia, Martique, Antigua, Curacao and the Dominican Republic soon followed and all were spent on resorts. Eventually my visits to the region were in rental properties. I quickly gained a non-tourist perspective of the realities of the underserved. Visits turned into living in both Martinique and Barbados.
My eyes were fully opened to the life of the hungry and homeless in both territories. I have spent 25 years as a Professional Recruiter. The best recruiting position I had was with the Atlanta Community Food Bank. I saw the impact of hunger on the Greater Atlanta area. I also learned about Feeding America and how the Atlanta Community Food Bank fit into their network. My time with the Atlanta Community Food Bank went so well, my wife and I were married there in 2011.
I knew I wanted to fight hunger in a region and for a people I had grown to love. I started the Facebook page and purchased the Feeding Caribbean website name in 2012. I prayed about it, thought about it and finally officially launched the organization in 2020.
